Got to agree with everything. Saturday 27 September 2008 ? almost eight years ago ? was one of the bleakest days I can recall. Here?s hoping that early August 2016 will be cause for huge celebration as SJP becomes our new home.
I must be honest, I did not expect that day ever to arrive and I didn?t think we would still be playing in the Ryman League Premier Division as Hendon FC in 2016. The work done by Simon and the rest of the HFC Trust board in keeping the club alive, and by Gary and the players for remaining at the same level of the Pyramid (and with a little bit of luck last May it might have been at a higher level too) cannot be exaggerated. They have been phenomenal achievements by one and all.
For, hopefully, one last time as the home team at Earlsmead tomorrow, ?COME ON YOU GREENS!!!!?
