Players known to have scored over 100 goals for the club in competitive matches, according to the website (there may be others that I can't think of at the moment) are:

212 Roy Stroud
181 Freddie Evans
174 Jimmy Quail
165 Rod Haider
163 Bob Avis
144 Cecil Wise
138 John Baker
120 Miles Spector
118 David Hyde
104 Tommy Lawrence

The totals for Roy Stroud, Freddie Evans, Cecil Wise, and to a lesser extent Bob Avis could be higher. We know that we are missing appearance and scorer data, particularly before World War II, though the same applies to World War II, and there are nearly a dozen matches missing for seasons between the end of the war and 1954-55.

From that list, the only two players playing since 1963 who have scored more goals than John Baker are Jimmy Quail and Rod Haider. However Jimmy Quail scored 87 goals up to the end of 1960-61, and 87 goals from 1963 to the end of his career with us. In 1961-62 and 1962-63 he played for Enfield.

As a comparison, the most prolific goalscorers for the club competitively since 1980 (that I can think of without trawling through the website or my own records) are

83 Colin Tate
78 Iain Dowie
71 Eugene Ofori
70 Paul Whitmarsh
69 Junior Lewis
