It is clear that the administrators are trying hard to avoid any contact and want to keep a low profile and hope that the problem some how goes away. I think most of us have seen this before and is usually referred to as the art of managing using the 'ostrich method'. For our part a dignified watch and wait seems the only sensible thing we can do.
It follows that when the dust settles though , that some substantive body needs to hold an inquiry into the failings in their actions also their communication strategy and to look at potential compensation for the clubs who , like Met.Police ( see their statement tonight), are now out of pocket because of these failings . There is little point in having an administrative body that appears not to act in the best interests of the clubs ,players and supporters they are meant to act on behalf of.. What would happen if a club could not fulfil their playoff because they had released players , Would they be fined and deducted points - would they apply this season and could they appeal ?
Back to dignified silence for me.
