Decent enough game in difficult conditions. Hendon did most of the pressing but Boro's counter-attacks were incisive and their second goal was superbly executed (hope matey who scored it is alright....stretchered off after being caught accidentally by McNamara). For me, playing Murphy on the left and Da Costa on the right, didn't work and it was only when Peter Dean came on that things started to really happen. Leon Smith's finish for the second goal was excellent. Hendon were undone by over-committing men forward but understandably they had to try to take the game to Boro.
