Non League Day done properly

403 at Kingstonian today, possibly 50-100 up on their average - our following was minimal as ever unfortunately.

Dulwich attendance? 2,865. Nearly three thousand. Against Hampton, who don't have a huge away following.

The reason? The "pay what you like" gimmick, proper advertising, including plugs in the national press, on the main forums of Crystal Palace, Millwall, Spurs and Chelsea. Now THAT is making an impact. Fair play Dulwich Hamlet.

I hope we are all taking notes for when we move to SJP, no reason we can't get into four figures for "special" games like Non League Day, big Cup ties, and hopefully a glamour friendly or two to begin our stay there.

Pleased to see that Rob has got a lot of the youth team lads going to the FA Cup game next week, cynics will be delighted that I'm unable to attend, so no one will get offended!
