Frome Town - an even lesser known fact

is the home of the famous cricketing Dredge family. Colin – nicknamed Herbie for some reason – used to share the new ball at Somerset with Joel Garner, and also played for football for his hometown team. In the 1970s, he played for the Western League representative XI in a match against the Isthmian League in the OCS Inter-League Cup and scored the only goal.
