Hampton travel and pub info

Tuesday sees us make the short trip to Hampton and Richmond Borough, another one that's handy enough if you've got an Oyster card, and just over half an hour by train from London Waterloo (or Clapham Junction if you're travelling from Willesden area by Overground)

As it's a Tuesday night and people will be finishing work at different times I thought rather than do what I'd do on a Saturday and arrange a central meeting point or designated train, instead I thought I would post up the train times and a pub for when we get there.

Trains leave Waterloo at 12 and 42 minutes past the hour, with additional quicker trains at 17.43 and 18.13. The last train to get you to the game on time is the 18.42, which arrives at Hampton at 19.23, the walk is no more than 20 minutes even if you're slow like me!

Trains coming back are at 20 and 50 past the hour, the last one is 23.20, so plenty of time for those who want a post-match celebratory pint.

The ground is a 10-15 minute walk from the station, straight along Station Road, and it's also on Station Road that we find our pub for the evening, the World's End, a very nice boozer that I've been in before on away days to Hampton. The Hampton clubhouse is also recommended, especially if they are still allowing you to bring drinks outside into the ground.

Depending on who I'm travelling with, I'll be at the World's End at some point in the afternoon, definitely before 6pm, hope to have a few Hendon fans join me before cheering the boys on to another victory.
