Don't leave the ground early. Yesterday another late goal get me thinking - so I've delved in. This is remarkable.
In the league, 60 goals scored, 32 conceded - split goal-times into 10 min segments home and away.
Appox one third of the total goals have come in the final 20 mins as the game has invariably become stretched.
Split evenly per se between both parties. At SJP, 34 goals scored - evenly throughout each 10 min segment. Fair to say we carry a consistent threat throughout. Now it gets really amusing...
In the league, final 10 mins a very high combined total of 18 goals! In the last 3 mins we have scored 9 and let in 6! Late goals have cost us at Brightlingsea, Needham ad Dulwich (drawn home game) - we have benefited with wins v Rozzers, Worthing, Dulwich, Tonbridge and gained draws in both FA Cup and Trophy.
In the same last 3 mins including cup games, 2 goals v Wingate FAC, Sluff in the Trophy, 1 v Grays, 1 v Wingate (LSC) and 2 v Spelly.
That's a combined total of 22 goals beyond the 87th minute!
It's off the charts - I think it's fair to say we've been consistently persistent!
