Well.. Saturday is fast approaching, and what will be one of our toughest tests we have encountered for a while. If your reading this but do not post on here, now is the time to register and join in.

We have in excess of 150 Hendon supporters at home games, so it would be nice to see 150 posts each week. Come and have your say. It's your club too!

Mods- Any chance you could add a News note making supporters aware we have a forum with a link to it. ?

I might, if I have time, go to the Hope in Carshalton which is a couple of minutes from Carshalton station. It's community owned and they've a properly good selection of ales.

If not, I'll have a pre-match beer at the ground.

Injuries, suspensions etc. are beginning to creep up at this time of year, but I have every confidence that Hendon will at least match Sutton. If it's any guide, I had little hope at Borehamwood last year in the FA Cup, and so it proved, but this Hendon squad is on a different level, as proved against Bath City.

Myself & a couple of pals are getting to The Old Bank pub in Sutton High Street for around 12 noon. It?s right next to Sutton station so if any Hendon fans are coming that way & not going to West Sutton come & join us.

In Dublin's Fair City
Where the girls are so pretty
I first set my eyed on sweet Molly Malone
As she wheeled her wheelbarrow
Through Wealdstone and Harrow
Singing
HENDON!
HENDON!
HENDON!

Only wish I could! Win, lose or draw, put on a performance to make us proud, Greens.
Good luck to Corey Addai on debut.

Was definitely planning on going but I've come a cropper again with some injuries to my ankle and I'm hobbling around. I could make it but my ankle is giving me just too gyp for comfort. Hope it's a good day out for those that go and try and bring them back to SJP for a replay at least. I'm assuming there's no pens on the day?

Good luck to the team today! In January 1974 I was privileged to watch the FA Cup tie against one of the greatest ever Newcastle Utd teams at St James' Park. Hendon achieved a 1-1 draw. Newcastle reached the final!

The game has changed massively since then with multiple substitutions possible, and expanded squads. It will not be easy against Sutton, but it is a fantastic reflection on the resurgence of HFC that we can talk about a place in the top 32 of non-league football!

Using oyster or contactless payment it is £4.00 each way from borehamwood to west Sutton or Sutton and is a direct train. Mill hill Broadway or hendon to west sutton or Sutton will coat you £3.40 each way.

Using the southern train from Watford junction, harrow and wealdstone or Wembley central (change at Clapham junction) to west Sutton or sutton will cost £3.40 each way. Please note Chelsea are at home today so the hourly service will be busier than normal.

Alternatively you can go into London and travel from Victoria to west Sutton or Sutton.

If your reading this and haven't made your mind up whether or not to go, stick something green on and come and follow hendon. As they say.. there's always an upset in the cup!

Let's really get behind the team today. They will.need our support.

See you all in Sutton.
