Surely we must now have reached rock bottom - with 16 winless home league games in succession (last 5 at Earlsmead and first 11 at SJP). Attendances are down to Earlsmead levels and even allowing for the early bounce, before the novelty wore off, average is now barely 200 (note to SAD these are facts not "negativity" of which you disapprove).
So being at the bottom, means that we can surely only go in an upward direction and give our all for 90 minutes plus in every game. Like good things, bad things also come to an end - so onwards and upwards.

A positive post and I agree! Let's get behind Gary and the boys much better things to come. They need our total support. Bacon rolls will perfect too!

It's pretty obvious that parachuting a load of new players in is very hit and miss.It had to be done I don't think there was any alternative,but it is going to take a good few games to see if it is going to work.Some will impress and will stay,slotting in with the return of stalwarts Braithwaite,Seeby,Big Dave,and Captain Kevin to name but four.,some will get back on the carousel and hop off somewhere else.If the rumours are true and the wages being paid to a couple of our departed favourites are fact,then it just shows what we are up against in terms of keeping our better players.No one can blame them for jumping ship, given the chance ,who wouldn't.
Is it just me or has the departure of Scott Cousins had a bigger something to do with our recent form ?
It won't be easy to get out of the cellar positions,but we have done it before and I am confident with a fair wind behind us it can be done again.

The question of Scott and any impact of his departure is an interesting one. I think any impact is pretty inconclusive to be honest - we won at Leiston and Bognor, and drew with Enfield and Havant without his input, but since he left, our defensive woes do seem to be unravelling apace.

The side with messrs Seeby, Maclaren (K) and Diedhiou has a much more robust, almost grown-up feel to it.

Whatever happens on Saturday, we really need to get behind the boys in as great a number and voice as possible against Harrow on Boxing Day!
