That was by some distance our most complete league performance in quite some time, and the complete polar opposite to the five-a-side nonsense that was served up on Wednesday evening against Wembley.

We were compact and organised out of possession, slick and creative in possession and should probably have been rather more comfortable than we were.

A couple of words for three players who have struggled for game time this season. Muir, McCall and Cole were outstanding, everyone else was very good. Great to see Murphs strike again from open play, he's found the going tough at times over the last 12 months but has shown a lot of determination. Thought he was good in midweek and very good today.

Also, Keagan Cole. Outstanding performance and quite brilliant goal. The kid is only 17, has waited patiently for his chance and looks like he is planning to take it. The attitude he's shown in being prepared to bide his time is as impressive, if not more so, than the absolute bucket loads of ability he has.

As I've said before (and hopefully will again in the blog!), the key now is to maintain that standard on Tuesday and beyond.

Superb performance and a very entertaining game.

Cole was excellent playing behind Muir and picked up so many loose balls or lay offs. Wonderful goal too.....unstoppable.

Murphy is a much better bet when played out wide. He did so much good work offensively and chasing back. He looked very comfortable on the left and dangerous when cutting in.

Arthur Lee had another good game following his efforts at Borehamwood. If he can improve his concentration levels then he will be a very influential player for us.

Last word for the Worthing 3/4G (or whatever) pitch. Played quicker than our pitch but not so quick that it spoilt the game and for the most part I didn't notice it. Really good.

PS Casey surely should've had a red? Booked and a bit later went through the back of their player?

A sublime all-round team performance. Determined from the start and maintained for the full duration.
Top marks for the Gaffer - rang the changes, had to be done. Additions to the squad for cover - timely. With Muir, McCall and Murph's and the Mac lads all Dialling M for Murder, one lad of whom impressed me was Arthur Lee. Defending aside, his distribution from the back was powerful and accurate. And two goals from outside the box - glimpses of a higher league standard, all adding interesting dimensions. Nico impressive again. Murphs linked up well.
I thought the lads demonstrated a bit of swagger. Great to see the lads believing in themselves.
The potential is evident, the desire was there for all to see, and real potential for growth. Replicate that at SJP and watch us climb the table. Today we convinced ourselves of what we have.
Excellent performance - very well done.
