Peacehaven, Margate, Lewes, Bognor and Maidstone away, the five decent trips, all Dec-Feb.

Wingate and poxy Finchley Boxing Day/Easter Monday. East Thurrock away in August instead of somewhere decent. Final away game at bloody Grays. Canvey away on a Tuesday night. Don't think this fixture list could have been any worse.

Bugger!

Full list is now below

Paul, I share your frustration with some of the away dates. But have you considered going to any of Hendon's games at Earlsmead, there are 23 to choose from? Come on, you know you want to.

I don't think I do want to, not opening that can of worms again, but I can do without travelling two hours and paying my hard earned to stand looking over my shoulder for people who might get offended. I don't like Earlsmead anyway.

If I'm free on New Year's Day, I might go to the away game to Harrow (that'll be 24 games at Earlsmead in the league!)

Maidstone away

Personally I'd like to have that fixture in the middle of winter, as it's the one game you know is unlikely to be washed out or frozen off.

Have to agree with Paul's sentiments regarding the seaside trips - I've enjoyed the days out I've had over the past couple of years. It is disappointing they've all fallen in the winter period.

But at the end of the day, we make those trips to hopefully see Hendon pick up 3 points - anything else - walks along the seafront, pubs etc is a bonus for me.

Agree with Pink Panther on Maidstone. All of us who went last season will remember how wet it was, but we all travelled in the knowledge the game would be on, something we can look forward to in the future once we are able to play at SJP.

For me, football is about the day out, not just the 90 minutes. Maybe it's that way for me because I'm used to the long haul trips to see Rangers.

23rd August is a prime example for me, of all the places we could go on a lovely summer's day, we get to go to East Thurrock!

Dulwich also have to go to Peacehaven (Dec), Lewes & Margate (Jan) and Bognor (Feb) in the middle of winter. I suppose someone must be going there during British Summer Time!

Back on the old treadmill

Once things get underway, I don't think the composition of the fixtures makes a jot of difference - we know what to expect. In an ideal world we need to improve on our home form and last season's return of four points out of eighteen, (excluding Wealdstone), in 'derby' matches proved costly.
Our away form was exceptional, and statistically it'g going to be hard to replicate. Having said that, we have proven personnel of whom are a match for anybody.
It's going to be a very tough campaign with a lot evenly hard-fought encounters.
Chomping at the bit!
