With you all the way on pre-season friendlies and Messrs Roughan (the latter is just my super-sonic typing speed)!
I have personally flagged the elusive Mr Carrick up - read this and start scratching your head!
The print is vague, but does look like the fore-mentioned name. I have previously trawled surrounding first team and reserve players names and nothing comes remotely close.
There is an extreme long shot (and emphasis as to be placed on the world 'long') which I discovered.
Macc Town historical records depict a David Carrick playing the previous season.
Would he have been around the following season and 'guested' for us? Unlikely, maybe one for the Forensic Department.
