Can't see mystery tour taking-in Saaf Essix next season, should the unthinkable occur.
It's down to the FA Committee, which I think Mike Appleby has given up chairing.
Ryman Blazers don't really have a say. (They're only "Ryman" Blazers for another two weeks. What happened to the announcement of this alleged new sponsor the Isthmian has signed?)
The Kempster thread, now done by Wazzafan, not Black Douglas, has not been updated for the weekend's results (Tut! Tut!) but it has Hendon in the SL Midland Division for next year. Cambridge City, who, like Hendon, sneaked out of the relegation slots on Saturday, were destined for the Saaf Essix Division, so there is wriggle-room to move the boundary without upsetting too many people. Here's the map:

...And let's remember that 2017/18 is scheduled to be the last season with the current 2-3-6 split below the five national divisions. If the FA can pull it off, the pyramid will switch to 2-4-8 for 2018/19.... which will presumably mean six promotion places from each of the Isthmian One, NPL One and Southern League One divisions next April.

Good luck for this afternoon.
