A pretty miserable day. Half a team and seemingly more injuries sustained to the regulars. Got drunk. Trains canceled post-match, pretty much summed things up. Shared a taxi with Daz all the way back to Birmingham New Street! Add to that the now obligatory one hour wait for a taxi home from Telford Central and it was of those days when you look back and question your own state of mind.
On the plus side. I thought Quba gave a solid display, (before going off - presumably injured), and the new lad in the middle showed some nice touches. Negatives, we need a forward or two!
I genuinely feel for the Gaffer right now. He must have ran over a cat or something. It feels like an eternity since we played a full strength side in a competitive game. I think now it would actually benefit everyone just to get up and running. I remain confident, I also maintain it's going to take most sides some time to evaluate where they are at.
