The season hasn't been declared null and void by the FA for steps 3-7 - we're at step 3. The season exists, and is still open for us at the moment as we have a quarter-final at least to play in the 2019-20 London Senior Cup, given the London FA's announcement over the weekend that they intend to complete all their 2019-20 cup competitions..

The matches have been played, goals have been scored, yellow and red cards have been shown, and suspensions served where applicable. Furthermore, when played, the matches were scheduled as part of an officially organised league or cup competition.

All the FA have done is to declare the league results null and void for the purposes of producing a final league table, which means there is no promotion or relegation in steps 3-7, including no relegation from step 2 (National League North and South). How can you promote or relegate a club if there is no league table to base it on? Yes, it's tough on those clubs that had already qualified for promotion before the termination - I'm aware of at least two clubs in that situation, but whatever decision the FA took was almost guaranteed to produce winners and losers, and would upset somebody to a greater or lesser extent.

As far as the website records are concerned, all league and cup matches played and goals scored will be counted in players' career records, and the league table will be frozen as is, hopefully with a note of explanation about the season's abandonment.

So yes, the season does exist, therefore a Player of the Year vote is valid. It's the Supporters' Association's
decision whether to hold it or not anyway, as they have organised it every season since 1964-65.
