Dorchester 0-3 Hendon

That game encapsulated much of the first couple of months of our season.

Dorchester were on top for the first 20-25 minutes, failed to make their chances count when the better side and made to pay by a ruthless opposition after the break.

Rihards made a superb double save (well, triple, but was prone on the floor when the third effort hit him) and we were indebted to the crossbar too. After the break, and especially once Tommy Brewer opened the scoring there only really looked like one winner.

The third goal was the icing on the cake, lovely move, delicious cross by Luca Allinson and Simeon finished it off. I know it's been said 100 times already in the last month, but that boy is some player. Aside from a booking for a shirt tug, he was immaculate once again.

Six on the spin, 12th in the table and four really big tests as to where we are as a side to come in the next three weeks. The atmosphere behind the goal was amazing, having the players come and shake the fans hands again was well received. My son was absolutely buzzing on the way home.

And a Twitter interaction with one of my all-time Hendon heroes too. A good day.
