If there are positives to be taken from today’s decision to keep Hendon in the Southern League South Division, then “football” may just be one of them. James Gray will have built up knowledge of our opponents last season which can only help us. Another season of turmoil getting to know fresh opponents, whilst possibly beneficial in some respects because of surprise factors, could have been difficult.

Continuity is the key here. However tough the travelling may be, in the long run, I suspect that the FA have taken the decision not to switch clubs in consecutive seasons.
