Gosport

My take. Today reminded me of Harrow at home. It looked lost 5mins in. I have absolutely no idea why having spent six months searching for a central midfield combination we break it up. Various thoughts surrounded that post-match debate - I thought it was our un-doing, hence reverting back to what I was hoping was in the rear view mirror. The majority of my thoughts, bigger picture, surround Connor and how to get the most out of him. Interesting, (extreme), comparison with the Weymouth lad Baker. 26 career starts, 44 sub apps - 23 goals. Obviously, incredibly aided by the lad Goodship a mere 65 goals in 80 starts. If together Tuesday, I think it may throw some light on Connor's potential role at least as a case study. Biggest disappointment for me today, I thought the lads in central midfield could continue to gel. We've got enough for consideration without creating more problems for ourselves. They, (Weymouth) appear to comit in numbers. A wholly different test - should at the very least shed some light on some issues - may actually go a long way to answering some. In the current climate that maybe a good thing.
