First defeat in ten

In my mind's eye today's fixture was probably the most challenging out of our mini-league. Margate's performances by all accounts have deserved better. Certainly from an attacking sense. Clearly bang in form. Talking nothing away from our performances against Slough. We have the greatest achievement in our sights.
What odds we play Dulwich and Margate again in the play-offs come April? I'm no more disgruntled today with a loss as I was with a 3-3 draw with Dulwich prior to the Slough game. We are percolating along nicely with Josh Walker back and a favourable set of fixtures until the new year.
At 2-3 thoughts of the 4-4 game at their place, play-off year re-emerged. It does feel similar to the previous play-off campaign. More history book repeating itself.
To quote Dave Ballheimer from that particular game 'This Hendon team doesn't know when it is beaten.'
We remain in a good frame of mind and subsequently bang on track for far greater success.
We've earned the right to have a stab at higher opposition - Now go and show them what we're made of.
