Clutching at straws?

Over at Non-league Matters it's been highlighted that last Saturday's Chalfont St Peter vs Kempston Rovers game was abandoned in stoppage time due to a serious injury. The Southern League have apparently ordered the game to be fully replayed in due course. I maybe slightly optimistic on this particular shout but I'm inclined to think that sets a precedence.
As a supporter, I'm going purely at face value. Should either of our respective clubs been penalised in any way behind the scenes, then one could argue that as far as the outcome of the result is concerned a replay is an appropriate determination. It's an interesting comparison and I have long held the personal view that this is the fair outcome, irrespective of my personal allegiances, I know more experienced people at the club have differing views. The fact opinions are split suggests some ambiguity.
