Can't argue with much of what PF has posted - summed it up well.

However, if today's game hadn't been part of this awful run of results, I think we would have just written it off as being beaten by the better side on the day.

Positives for me were that we do look more organised and solid at the back. Yes, there were nerve jangling moments, but there were less of them, and whilst he's only played twice so far, the back four do seem to have more confidence in Tom Lovelock. Thought we looked less vulnerable down the left with Arthur playing there.

Jeff makes a good point about giving away free kicks around the box - one of my frustrations this season has been this. Certainly less of this today.

What did really impress me was the desire, workrate and effort by the team throughout the 90 minutes. Yes, we struggled to break them down and consequently chances were at a premium, but it wasn't for the want of trying. Certainly the right team won, and I don't think anyone was surprised by that - Dulwich are a very good side. We'll play worse than that and get a result this season, and probably already have. However, for me, the jury is out on Aaron Tumwa and Quba Gordon - although the latter did make some very important challenges in the second half.

Speaking to a number of our supporters after the game, I think we've all identified Saturday's game against Merstham as a must win.
