Other option if travelling into London on Thameslink, is to go to Blackfriars and change there to go to Denmark Hill, which is about a 10 minute walk from Champion Hill (come out station, and just walk down the hill).
Trains from Blackfriars to Denmark Hill depart at 12, 20, 42 and 50 minutes past the hour.
Trains from Denmark Hill to Blackfriars depart (frustratingly!) at 24, 28, 54 and 58 minutes past the hour.
The trains to Denmark Hill from Blackfriars will depart from platforms 3 & 4 on Monday.
