In addition to the pricing issue (which I wholeheartedly agree with), it was a damp night, there was international football within sight of SJP (also shown on the telly) and the associated traffic chaos.

On the traffic point, it is worth noting that four Northwood players didn't arrive at SJP until about 7.20pm because of traffic.

Whilst perhaps slightly disappointing on this one occasion - these games rarely hit treble figures (the 100 plus gate for the Wembley game was bewildering!) - even quarter or semi finals barely seem to whet the appetite.

However, since the move to SJP, crowds are generally up. They might not be back to Claremont Road levels, but they are consistently better than Earlsmead gates. If we can shift out of this rotten period of form then hopefully we can continue to grow them this season and beyond.
