According to the Brentwood Twitter feed, when the inspection took place (it was hoped to be precautionary), the referee deemed one small section to be unplayable. Frustrating, but unavoidable and part of the game at our level. We had exactly the same issue at Earlsmead for the Lewes game, same issue at Vale Farm against Tonbridge or Hastings and the same issue at Claremont Road once against Slough, where even the efforts of supporters and players from both sides alike were in vain.
