We have been in this particular boat far too many times to splash others.
Brentwood were confident their pitch would be passed playable; the referee thought otherwise. They still have 20 games to play in the last 12 weeks of the season. A few years ago, we would have thought that was a luxury; in 2001 we tried to fit in 17 matches in 34 days between 2 April and 5 May.
