On the flip side, there was easily 1400 plus at Dulwich ten days ago...
I'm not going to get into a mudfight over loyalty etc, all I will say is that there was a point made in the dressing room this evening after the game by someone who everyone who posts on this board respects unreservedly regarding recent attendances.
I won't divulge the contents of the conversation as it's not my place to do so. I think it is fair for me to say though that every effort made by supporters (and of course its recognised that many have commitments that make getting to games very difficult) is noticed and massively appreciated by the players and the management.
What I will say, from my own personal point of view is that my support of Hendon is unconditional. Regardless of where they're playing, what beverages I'm allowed to consume and what the weather is doing, if I possibly can, I will be there supporting Gary, Freddie, Scott and the eleven players selected. Even if there are players I personally wouldn't select, they get my backing during that 90 minutes.
I'm not saying that makes me a 'better' fan than anyone else, it's just my own personal relationship with the club. Right now, the players need every ounce of encouragement and backing they can get. Supporting them was easy last season, they made it easy for me. Now it's time for me to return the favour.
