As one of the "older" supporters so disparaged by mello, I have not forgotten our struggles against relegation and indeed our ongoing fight for survival. I resent the implication in his/her post and some others that winning is the be all and end all. I am as gutted as much as anyone by EVERY defeat (and I suspect I have witnessed more losses than most over the last 60 or so years). What vexes me is the increase in dissent (I know it's not only us, but that's no excuse). This was my only rebuke to Gary and he has made it clear that he is stamping down hard on it and I wish him the success that he so richly deserves - long may he reign over the Green and White (or should that now be Black) Army.
