Third Witham postponement

Some fixtures appear to be fated and our first-ever trip to Witham Town appears to be falling into that category with a third postponement.

Witham were due to play AFC Sudbury in the Robert Dyas League Cup last night, but the ground at Spa Road failed an inspection and the match was postponed. As a result, that game has been rescheduled for next Tuesday, and this, of course, means our fixture will have to find a new space on the calendar.

We were first due to travel there on 11 October, but FA Cup duty for both clubs meant it had to be rearranged. The next date was 18 November, only for a waterlogged pitch to result in a postponement, so 20 January was the next choice.

No new date has been advised yet.
