Just dropped in to congratulate the lads on yet another job well done.
Disciplined performances like yesterday emanate from the staff and preparation and its subsequent implementation. I thought we looked composed at the back and in doing so took much of the sting from their approach play - almost to the degree where a stalemate ensued. Ben and Fish further galvanized the defence with solid performances. With oblilatory injuries and suspensions most teams would be weakened, our alternative options when implemented appear to provide further depth and scope.
The Stones scored a cracking goal and restricted any real movement from our forwards. They coped with virtually every ariel duel - ironically upto the equaliser.
Plenty of hard battles to come.
The appearances milestones are testimony to the loyalty and maturity of both players. That maturity is being bourne out in the continued success on the field.
Have a great christmas everybody.
