That's the League Cup bogey laid to rest - which gives us an additional chance to lay down the bogey against Enfield Town in the next round. That said, our cup record against them is played 5 won 5.

As I've mentioned on the website, as well as being our first league cup win for 8 years, it's also the first time we've come back from 3-0 down to win a game since April 1987. As it stands, that's the only other occasion we can come up with. We did come back from 3-0 down against Purfleet to draw 3-3 in April 1995.

There'll be an article on other comebacks that I've found and been told about in the past hour or so in a future programme (it won't be in Saturday's - which will be a double edition for the Margate and Billericay games).

It's certainly never boring being a Hendon fan! A huge well done to the squad for showing the character to turn round a game that apparently was running away from us rapidly.
