Come on You Greens

It was a bit weird yesterday reading the local Dorset rag and seeing a preview of tomorrow's game against the Magpies with the mighty Dons. It's been a while since the Dons ventured this far West (Taunton in the FA Trophy springs to mind) so we are looking forward to seeing the boys in action.

There is a real rivalry between the towns of Weymouth and Dorchester, the league meeting earlier this season drew over 1500 and having managed a Weymouth youth team for 8 years, the rivalry extends all the way down to junior football as well.

As manager, I once got sent from the touchline during a Dorchester v Weymouth youth game by a referee from Dorch (brother of one of the players) so this game does have an added edge for the Huttons down here in Dorset.

Looking forward to what should be a cracking game and seeing some old faces again. Let's enjoy the day out and get behind Gary's boys in what is shaping up to be a memorable season.

See you all tomorrow. Paul
