I trust that this statistic will not just be viewed as a bizarre "anorak" fact:

38 goals have been scored by Hendon's regular number 9s this season, an astonishing performance considering nobody made double figures last season.

Leon Smith has netted 12 times in 16 starts and Jefferson Louis 26 times in 33 starts. With Anthony Thomas scoring 17 times, we have just witnessed possibly the finest strike force at Hendon since the Whitmarsh and Junior Lewis era.

Well done! Whatever the future may hold, it has been a real pleasure to watch Hendon this season.
