I am not sure if this is going to be of any help.

The only C Smith listed in the former Hendon players is plain C Smith, who played two matches, on 17 and 24 September 1921.

C Smith’s debut was an Athenian League fixture away to Luton Clarence, a match we lost 2–0, and the second was a 3–0 home win (at Farm Avenue - we didn't move into Claremont Road until five years later) against Barnet in the FA Cup, in which he scored. Reg Kirby and Cecil Wise got the other two goals.
