Stood behind our goal second half, it was apparent to me just what an understated job James Fisher does at the heart of the defence. He's the main leader, marshalling his colleagues and leads by example. Yesterday afternoon he was absolutely faultless throughout.

Really pleased with the desire and work ethic shown by the players yesterday. After the blow of Casey's red card (looked harsh from 80 yards away) we were rarely, in truth, troubled. One excellent save from a long range effort by Berkley, a couple more routine stops (albeit with good handling) and one effort cleared off the line in the first period.

I know a lot of people were upset with the referee, but he did show consistency with the red cards. Both looked harsh from where I was, but given what had gone before with Casey, the number 6 had to go for his challenge on Leo. From that moment, the game changed completely. It wasn't simply a case of hoping to nick something on the break, but taking control of the game.

If only we could find that consistency...
