Excellent work-rate, efficient job well-done. I thought the attitude was spot-on. Several players may have given their best performances of the season out there today. Fish looked back to his old self. Lee and the Mac lads never stopped. I still think the Mac lads can improve. Kevin looked more his industrial self. The real stars for me were the lads up front. Carl put in a real shift and as far as individual performances goes, that has to be one of his best. Big Dave was sublime, control and penetration. But the lad Jefferson really impressed. His all round awareness and link-up play was the best I've seen.
I have a soft spot for Cray, I hope they stop up -and not just because of the barmaid in the Bricklayers Arms!
Not the best Cray eleven, but they do have a rather distinct style of play which can be very dangerous. I also maintain they are very vulnerable to anything planted around the penalty spot. I also like Bromley's ground, kinda old fashioned. Proper kind of footy!
Now lets get that first home win - frankly it's overdue.
